Pears and wine have a natural affinity, and together they create a classic combination of tastes and textures. Come to Cathedral Ridge Winery on September 18-19 and enjoy our wine pairing with locally grown pears.

We will also feature one of Apple Valley Country Stores delicious pear products!

Award Winning Wine Train!

Return to the Luxury and Tradition of Railroad Dining. Taste the finest wine and food this region has to offer as you travel along the scenic views of Mt Hood.

Tickets are Only $29.99!

Start your wine adventure at 6:00 at the train station where we will sample wines served from the barrel. Once boarded (6:30pm), your personal wine host will offer tastings from a selection of our award winning wines. A gourmet box dinner prepared by a local favorite, Celilo Restaurant "Featured Restaurant of the Columbia River Gorge Region" by Travel Oregon will be served. Your host will suggest a wine paired with your meal.

We will disembark in Odell to enjoy the view and premier fruit from local orchardist The Fruit Company, featured on "Oprah's List".

Wine, cheese and crackers will be offered for the relaxing, scenic trip back to the station. *Wines by the glass or the bottle are available to be purchased along the route. Bottles and cases are available to purchase at the station.

Harvest, Vineyard & Tasting Tour $100 ($75 for wine club members)

Actively experience harvest time with the Cathedral Ridge Team! Roll up your sleeves and learn the art of picking grapes at just the right time. As our guest you will be treated to a gourmet box lunch in the vineyard where you are welcome to asking questions and talk one-on-one with the vineyard owners.

Then back to the winery to be a part of the extraordinary and seldom seen crush and harvest activities. Cathedral Ridge is one of the few Columbia Gorge Wineries where all wine operations are done onsite.

Experience vineyard practices in motion and at the end of the tour we will meet in the barrel room for barrel tasting, wine and cheese. Feel free to stay walk the grounds and enjoy the view and reminisce about the day events with the other tours guests.

We do not consider this a tour, but an experience you will never forget.
