We have found that our region is perfectly matched for growing and producing exquisite blends of Pinot Gris. We strive for our Pinot Gris to showcase the acidity of the Columbia Gorge, while carrying a mouth feel that is soft and pleasant expressing wonderful fruit, acidity and lushness.  Typical nutty flavors are prevalent, and a round flavor profile accents the acidity perfectly. 

Light floral notes with refreshing pear and granny smith apple enliven the bouquet. Ripe citrus and balanced acidity highlight the mouthfeel, followed by a slightly nutty finish. Our Pinot Gris is crisp and fun, with subtle body making it a very versatile food wine.

Lemon zest and Bartlett pear aromas tease the palate along with hints of butterscotch, vanilla and a soft mouthfeel. While luscious and savory, this wine also shows finesse with intriguing floral tones and subtle minerality.

The 2011 Chardonnay profiles more fruit flavor than our previous vintage while retaining the same pleasing mineral balance with a softness that sits on the tongue and begs for another sip. Neutral oak barrels lead to a mature memorable wine balanced by acidity.

Over the past 5 years we have been refining our Chardonnay program-we achieve the rich, butter tones capable of the Gorge, and peel back some of its sumptuousness and reveal the Chardonnay flavors. We avoid new oak, and instead reach to sur lee aging, stirring of the lees, and partial malolactic fermentation to achieve a complete and complex flavor profile.

A light golden hue with a warm nose that hints at vanilla. A luscious, full mouthfeel with nutty notes and butterscotch that lead through strong, complex layers lingering throughout the finish.

Aged for 16 months in mellowed American Oak barrels from Belvedere Winery, this is a creamy, buttery wine with balance fruit and acidity.

Due to our colder climate, Oregon Chardonnay has a higher acidity level that those from California, making them perfect for long barrel aging as the acidity stands up and balances the wine.

Silver Medal - Northwest Wine Summit

This wine has a soft, smooth and bright palate with a clean and silky finish showcasing the much earthier flavors of warmer climate Pinot Noirs like Mt. Hood Morel mushrooms, truffles and gamey meats. It is rounded out with delicate swirls of cranberry and a nose of cinnamon, plum and maple.

John Bangsund's vineyard in The Dalles is truly amazing with Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah all growing side by side.

Cranberry and pomegranate flavors unite in subtle tannins, hinting at black olives and fresh fig. An excellent food wine!

Located on the north side of the Columbia River sits Dampier Vineyard in Underwood Mountain, WA. Much higher in elevation, approximately 1,100 feet, this vineyard benefits from southern facing slopes with great exposure to the sun and cool gorge winds throughout the growing season.

Long time wine-writer Chuck Hill recommends this wine: "A perfect pairing with salmon, this wine offers aromas of strawberry, black cherry/rhubarb and light notes of herb and spice. The palate is not overwhelming but bright with flavors of cherry, strawberry and cranberyy with herbal notes of the finish - very fine sip for your river fishing adventures."

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

Dark berries, milk chocolate, and cassis on the nose followed by a smooth, balanced mouth feel & soft tannins on the finish make this a very approachable red wine.

Of the many Bordeaux-style wines we produce, our Cabernet/Merlot blend is the most approachable. The intent of our "Cab/Merlot" is to broaden our flavor spectrum of full-bodied red wines. This wine takes the softest qualities of the two varietals and blends them together to produce a young and appealing wine that retains some of the tannin from its parent wines.

We age our Cab/Merlot for up to 11 months in oak barrels, and bottle the final blend as young-drinking red wine. Even though its heritage lends to a full bottle aging potential, it is a wonderful wine while served young and pleases most red wine admirers.

22% Merlot, 33% Syrah and 44% Cabernet Sauvignon make up this beautiful blend. The Bordheauxd (pronounced Board Head) is our tribute to the hard working Board Heads shredding the Columbia Gorge.

Deep within a multitude of aromas lie blackberries, tart raspberry, warm vanilla and bitter cocoa. Aged in neutral French oak barrels, this wine showcases the complexity of each grape and the uniqueness of the Columbia Gorge climate.

Very well put together with a palate of ripe blackberry, spices and warm vanilla. A nose large with cedar and berries leads into a body of velvety cocoa tannins and a long earthy finish.

A fantastic follow up to our Award Winning 2008 Vintage, this Cab is sure to be a fan and critic favorite.

Dark and delicious with lots of ripe, fleshy raspberry on the palate layered with notes of vanilla, black licorice and toasted spices. This well balanced Syrah finishes with hiding pepper and smooth black cherry tannins which will impress even the most fervent admirers of the Rhone.

Our 2008 Syrah received Gold Medals at the Northwest Wine Summit 2012, and the Savor Northwest 2012 as well as a Silver Medal at the Northwest Food and Wine Festival 2012. 

One of our most prized reds from year to year, this new release Syrah is sure to be a great follow up to our 2008!
