This 2018 Merlot Gold Medal winner is sourced from Elephant Mountain and Reid Vineyards.  All grapes were picked and taken in at optimum ripeness with a two week fermentation for full color extraction and fermented to full dryness. The wine was then barrel aged for 18 months in neutral oak providing a sensuous texture with balanced acidity and easy tannins. This merlot opens with fruit forward aromas with ripe boysenberry and spice on the nose.  A robust savory palate with supple tannins leading to a peppery, dry finish.

Pair with: braised ribs, pizza and falafel burgers
