The 2018 Rusty Red Reserve, one of our signature blends, is always a favorite. Crafted and blended by our winemakers primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes, with smaller portions of Petit Sirah, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, to create a perfect balance of flavors.

The opening aromas are bold and inviting. Fruit forward notes of ripe boysenberry, All spice, cedar chips and cocoa. A full bodied, rich berry palate, subtle hints of earth with warm lingering spices that stay with you well after the last sip. Our 2019 Cabernet/Merlot is a classic Bordeaux blend of 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot sourced from the Columbia Gorge AVA. Your perfect Bordeaux inspired everyday blend.

Our 2019 Malbec Reserve is a Tasting Room favorite!

The grapes for this new vintage are sourced from two sites, McKinley Springs and Sugar Loaf. The higher elevation of these vineyards allow the grapes a longer hang time producing a bold, substantial wine. Typically malbec grapes are smaller with a thick skin that contributes to the wine’s intense, glorious color. Opening rich notes of black plum, vanilla, baking spice and new leather. Layers of flavor define this complex wine, with lush dried fruit, plum, sweet tobacco and a subtle earthiness. Mild tannins with balanced acidity and rich fruitiness complete this vibrant structured wine.

Our 2019 Michelle’s Malbec Reserve is a beautiful Malbec blend that boasts aromas of floral notes with bright, full berries and cocoa. On the palate are layers of rich berries with notes of spice, smooth tannins, and an opulent finish.

44% Sugarloaf Malbec, 44% McKinley Springs Malbec, 2% Echo Malbec, 5% Firethorn Petite Verdot, and 5% McKinley Springs Petite Verdot

The 2019 Necessity Red is a lively blend of Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Barbera making it the lightest blend produced at Cathedral Ridge. The blend creates a Pinot Noir affect with real substance and weight. All 3 varietals are grown within 25 miles of the winery; there are few places in the world where that is possible. Like its name, this wine is a necessity and it has become known as the perfect table win enjoyed by all.
The wine opens with aromas of dried currant, fruit leather, anise and cinnamon. A fresh, bright, juicy berry palate with a touch of minerality, like your favorite sweet and sour dish. The blends rounds out with a rhubarb/strawberry finish.

Pair with a grilled cheese sandwich and cheese fondue.

Our 2019 Zinfandel features the grape’s traditional flavors. This fruit forward Zinfandel Red Wines grapes were sourced from the Columbia Valley AVA where higher daytime temperatures provide richness to our Zinfandel.

A delightful fruit forward nose of fig jam, hints of licorice and earthiness. This leads to a cranberry palate, with a lingering peppery spice finish.

Food Pairing Spiced pork chops with plum chutney, chilli con carne & blue cheese.

Our award winning 2020 Barbera is sourced from the vineyards of McKinley Springs in Horse Heaven Hills, an 2,800 acre estate vineyard that is family
owned and operated.

Start with warm, inviting aromas of vanilla, blackberry jam, fresh black pepper. A juicy and balanced multi-berry mouthfeel with hints of anise and delicate herbs that ends with soft tannins. A wonderful balance of fruit and acidity make this a very approachable wine.

Food Pairing: Roasted root vegetables, rustic bruschetta and tomato based pasta dishes.

Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is a smooth and perfectly balanced wine ready to be enjoyed at any occasion. Sourced from growers along the Columbia Valley AVA that provides a long dry growing season. The warm days and cool nights of the area help retain ideal proportions of acid and sugar levels in the grape, ensuring a balance and richness of flavors.

Our 2020 Cabernet vintage opens with expressive aromas of toasted cedar, dried blueberry, bay leaf and spice. The bountiful aromas are highlighted by a full bodied, dry mouthfeel with notes of anise and peppercorn. As the weather cools, get ready to cozy up with this delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

Pairing: This vintage will pair brilliantly with beef stroganoff, grilled bratwurst and sharp cheddar cheeses.

Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is primarily sourced from Elephant Mountain and the fabled Rattlesnake Hills vineyard. Prior to bottling the wine was aged for 24 months to produce a wine with depth.

Opening aromas of blackberry, cedar, vanilla and baking spice. A rich, full bodied palate, soft blackberry pie jam, showcasing a perfect balance of rich fruit and tannins.

This wine will pair perfectly with roast lamb kebabs, steak tartar, beef bourguignon.

Dampier Pinot Noir is one of our most popular and consistently excellent award winning wines. Located on the north side of the Columbia River the Dampier Vineyard is in Underwood Mountain, WA.  At approximately 1,100 feet, this vineyard benefits from southern facing slopes with great exposure to the sun and cool Gorge winds throughout the growing season. We take the whole vineyard’s production.

The 2020 vintage excellence starts when you pour this wine into your glass and enjoy the glorious pale purple color, showcasing the richness of the Columbia Gorge Pinot Noirs. The wine opens with aromas of dried raspberry, clove and orange rind. A smooth raspberry sauce palate with a bright and juicy finish. For a softer mouth feel and finish, we suggest opening this bottle of wine a couple of hours prior to drinking.

This wine will pair beautifully with grilled mesquite salmon, quiche and goat cheese frittata.
