Our 2020 Syrah RSV fruit is sourced from the beautiful McKinley Springs and Reid vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA. The wine was barrel aged 22 months. Our 2021 Merlot* is sourced from Merlot vines grown in the Columbia Valley AVA, and our Merlot spent 22 months in oak barrels prior to bottling. Opening aromas of freshly milled cedar, toasted vanilla and cherry. A palate that is an explosion of fragrant, floral notes with sweet tobacco and all-spice producing a very rounded and balanced finish. Already a favorite with the Cathedral Ridge team.

The 2021 Winemaker’s Reserve Cuvée showcases the exemplary grapes the Columbia Gorge has to offer. Cathedral Ridge’s ultimate Bordeaux inspired blend of Malbec, Cab Sauv., Cab Franc., Merlot & Petit Verdot, crafted by our master wine maker Michael Sebastiani. Our 2018 The Daughters’ Reserve, is a unique Rhone blend of three varietals; Mourvèdre, Grenache and Malbec. The elegant, fruity character derived from Grenache is complemented by the spicy character of the Mourvèdre. Fruit forward, perfume aromas of white blossom, raspberry puree and soft pepper. A lovely balanced palate of rich fruit, milk chocolate with soft acidity. Gentle tannins make this a delicious wine for afternoon gatherings with family and friends.

Our 2018 The Last Best Wife is a beautiful wine made from our Petit Verdot grapes sourced from Firethorn and McKinley Springs, where long sunny days produce luscious, bold wines. Although Petit Verdot is principally used in Bordeaux blends, we love it as a single varietal. This vintage opens with warm notes of blackberry, pepper, woodsy spice and sage. A rich, full bodied palate, with hints of slate, leads to a lingering finish.

Our 2020 Cabernet Franc Reserve is an essential player in our Bordeaux line up. These luscious grapes come from Moody Vineyard, overlooking the mouth of the Deschutes River, where they enjoy long sunny days and cool nightly breezes. A complex, medium-bodied and fruit centric wine. It has beautiful undertones of cocoa powder, red plum and cardamom. Soft tannins
round out the finish.

Our 2018 Malbec Reserve is a Tasting Room favorite!  McKinley Springs Vineyards are the original players in the now fabled Horse Heaven Hills AVA. This 2018 vintage displays a beautiful magenta color. The wine opens with aromas of chocolate covered cherries, vanilla, hints of cinnamon bark and white pepper. A balanced palate of marinated cherries and cocoa powder. The richness of the palate leads to a soft spice finish with medium tannins.

This 2021 Merlot is sourced from Elephant Mountain and Reid Vineyards.  All grapes were picked and taken in at optimum ripeness with a two week fermentation for full color extraction and fermented to full dryness. The wine was then barrel aged for 18 months in neutral oak providing a sensuous texture with balanced acidity and easy tannins. This merlot opens with fruit forward aromas with ripe boysenberry and spice on the nose.  A robust savory palate with supple tannins leading to a peppery, dry finish.

Our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Elephant Mountain, Vineyards, a high-elevation site, of 90 acres with amazing grapes. Because of its high elevation, Elephant Mountain rarely gets frost, averaging 30 more frost-free days than most Columbia Valley vineyards. This new vintage opens with cherry, black currant and vanilla aromas. A full bodied wine with a palate of toasted coconut, vanilla, berry jam, spice and subtle smokiness. This divine wine rounds out with a dry earthy finish.

The It's All White! Collection showcases the very best of the Columbia Gorge and Columbia Valley white wines.

Our 2023 Chardonnay is sourced from the fabled McDuffee Vineyard in The Dalles, OR., part of the Columbia Valley AVA.  The wine was aged for 18 months in the barrel and showcases their delicious fruit. This vintage opens with a creamy pear texture showcasing ripe pear and complimented by subtle notes of toasted hazelnuts. 2 bottles.

Our 2022 Pinot Gris is Estate grown from 30 year old vines grown in our dusty loamy soil. Sourced from the Columbia Gorge AVA where the warm days and cooler nights are conducive to produce vibrant, fresh white wines. The wine opens with fresh aromas of ripe apple and citrus. The palate is crisp and
bright with notes of juicy grapefruit leading to a mouth watering, dry finish. Your “Summer time in a glass” a perfect wine for hot summer sipping.

Our 2022 Riesling is estate grown in the Columbia Gorge AVA. A light bodied, off-dry Riesling grown in cooler regions the Columbia Gorge AVA. This produces a Riesling resembling its native German qualities where the grapes ripen to optimal sugar levels and retain the fruit’s unique acidity. The opening notes of this 2022 vintage are bright and fresh with aromas of honeysuckle, lemon and subtle minerality. The palate is crisp apple and lemonade. A juicy, crisp, mouth watering lemon finish with a sustaining, lingering acidity. If you love margaritas, then this wine if for you! The team at Cathedral Ridge think this is an exceptional vintage.

The 2019 Dampier Pinot Noir is one of our most popular and award winning wines. Located on the north side of the Columbia River the Dampier Vineyard is in Underwood Mountain, WA.  At approximately 1,100 feet, this vineyard benefits from southern facing slopes with great exposure to the sun and cool Gorge winds throughout the growing season. This wine has a delicate color opening with aromas of juicy red currant and herbal notes. A soft fruit palate, leads to a bright finish.

Our 2020 Dampier Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir red wine is taken from the Eastern most rows which gain additional flavor from this slightly different soil and exposure. A delightful herbaceous nose leading to an earthy, red currant palate with a soft, spicy rhubarb finish. This black label reserve offers a delicate finish that will pair perfectly with any cuisine.

The 2018 The Daughters' Reserve is a sassy Rhone inspired blend named for the winery owner’s daughter and fitting to her personality! Complex flavors and aromas of ripe raspberry, blueberry, and currant transition into savory herbal notes of anise and green peppercorn, along with hints of caramel and warm baking spices. On the full, bright, and lively palate, savory notes of tobacco, toasted brown sugar and baking spices become more defined on the warm and zippy finish.
